Mix softened vegan butter with any flavor desired, — minced onions, paprika, various sauces, chopped peppers or capers, minced herbs, etc. Use 1 teaspoon of flavor mixture to each tablespoon of butter. Spread the butter mixture between two layers of bread.

Mince celery and mix with chopped apples, sprinkle lightly with salt and spread between slices of brown bread buttered with vegan butter.
